Odd Scholarships
There are many odd scholarships being given out today for some weird and wacky talents, and maybe it’s a good thing because we are in favor of free college tuition for anyone wants to attend college.
This is simply because we believe that an educated world creates a better planet earth to live on. Smarter people are going to make smarter decisions for everyone and this will lift a whole lot of people to a higher level then they could ultimately achieve by themselves.
So, yes odd scholarships as weird and different as they are will result in the same ending as a scholarship given to a student who got it by having a high GPA, SAT and ACT test scores – someone else paying for their tuition other then themselves.
This is the pentacle of student financial aid for any student attending college – even if it’s mom and dad paying their way for them. They didn’t have to foot the bill themselves. They can just concentrate on getting good grades by studying hard and also enjoying the fun that college has to offer, and not worry about the large bill they will have to pay when they graduate as a result of student loans as large as some peoples mortgage!
When it’s all said and done getting so called stupid, wacky, weird, unusual, uncommon, dumb, strange, different or odd scholarships are scholarships just the same and it should be commended that students can even get them in the first place. We all know that there are many roads which all can lead to the same location – a college education!
There will be some oddball scholarships we mention that will not seem so strange to you. If it doesn’t sound like a weird scholarship, then you may be a good candidate for it!!!
If the scholarships sound unusual or uncommon and far removed from you, then you may not be the best applicant for it. It’s that simple!
We have found out that some of the the most oddball scholarships will not be so weird to that student who’s right for it. The student will easily apply effortlessly to it like they’re sitting down to their favorite meal and devouring it.
Some of the off the wall and odd scholarships our staff votes on will vary from one person to the next. Many do not agree what a weird scholarship is. One of our writers got a college scholarship fully paid by playing baseball throughout college because he was exceptional at it. Another writer got scholarships for her high GPA, SAT and ACT scores.
This same writer thinks it’s ridiculous or weird that the baseball player got a full ride for ‘playing and having fun at it’. Her claim is that in college she studied day and night for four years while he played baseball and had fun, and that it wasn’t fair or anywhere the same as her situation; that it’s a farce that any athlete get student aid to play and have fun at it like a child does. This is all odd to her and makes no sense whatsoever.
You can see how this varies from one student to another.
People are different that’s all!

These various so called odd college scholarships are just a tool needed to pay for, and complete what all students need – a degree! If there is a tool you see on our website you will need, then it’s up to you to apply for it to see if you can get it. No matter how weird or strange scholarships may seem, they are just the tool needed for you at this time.
